Innovative solutions for wound care: The next generation of technical textiles
New technologies for advanced wound care and sustainable medical applications
November 11 – 14, 2024, Trade Fair Centre Düsseldorf - Hall 8b, Booth H01 | Freudenberg has succeeded in developing a new type of foam dressing that stands out from its competitors' products. The exceptional combination of outstanding wound bed contouring and two-type silicone adhesive technology puts this inimitable product in a class of its own. It therefore offers clinically relevant added value compared to other widely available products. The inclusion of an optional antimicrobial variant further expands the range of clinical indications.
High performance foam for wound dressings
The new MDI-based foam has been developed to ensure excellent exudate management. It is characterized by superior absorption and retention and shows high wet strength properties. The foam wicks quickly so is ideal where a fast absorption rate is desirable.
Elastic superabsorber and bio-based wound pad material
At Compamed, we will be presenting our new elastic superabsorber which, thanks to an innovative technology, do not require perforation or slits and support the flexibility of modern wound dressings. We also offer a sustainable solution for wound dressings in the form of the bio-based wound pad material M 1714, which is industrially compostable and facilitates certification for biodegradability.
